Fun Activities

This year’s event will be held on September 3 – 4, 2016, and is the perfect place to spend Labor Day weekend with the whole family. Kids can enjoy face painting, inflatables, and other fun children’s activities, and adults can sip on garlic cocktails at the Beer and Wine Garden. There will also be live music from local bands and demonstrations about planting, growing, and harvesting garlic and herbs throughout the weekend.

Local Vendors

We hope you’re hungry! At the Southern Vermont Garlic and Herb Festival, guests can enjoy a variety of garlicy goods for sale like garlic jelly and and pickled garlic, or munch on samples like garlic hot dogs, garlic soup, and garlic ice cream. There will also be many different herbal products available for purchase as well as various crafts like jewelry, clothing, and artwork.

Explore Camelot Village

When planning your trip to the festival, be sure to set some time aside to wander through Camelot Village, the largest antique center in all of New England. This 25,000 square foot facility is housed in two historic barns and features over 200 dealers selling unique antiques and collectibles. From furniture and glassware to artwork and vintage clothing, you’re sure to find the perfect gift or souvenir to bring home with you!

Hours & Admission

With so much to see and do, we recommend purchasing a two-day pass so you can spend an entire weekend at the Bennington Garlic Festival. There’s plenty of free on-site parking as well as a wagon shuttle service to the gate. A one-day pass is $6 for adults and $2 for children, and a two-day pass is just $10. The festival hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m both days. Don’t forget to check their website for event updates!
