Activities in Killington: Play a Round of Golf in Scenic Decadence
Activities in Killington have much more to offer than just skiing. In fact, the famed “Beast of the East” is a hub not only for winter sports, but for summertime recreation and leisure as well—especially for its pristine golf course. Open to the public from late may through mid-October each year, this stunning course allows golfers to challenge themselves against the striking high-altitude terrain, uniquely designed by Geoffrey Cornish.
Play your way across over 6,000 yards and a 2,000 elevation on this par 72 championship golf course. Punctuated by snowmelt streams and panoramic vistas, golfers here will love the fantastic terrain. The course also includes a practice facility with a practice bunker and a 12,000 square-foot putting green, as well as a full-size retail pro shop with apparel and golfing gear. Players can treat themselves to an on-course beverage cart, a caddy shack with food and drinks, the Clubhouse Bar and Grill, and an entirely new fleet of golf carts as of 2017. Golfers visiting Killington Resort’s course can also purchase private lessons, junior specialty packages, and multi-day golf school lessons.
Rates for playing on Killington Resort’s course vary between daily rates and season pass rates. Daily rates are split into nine or eighteen holes.
For nine holes, cart rentals are $14.00, student prices are $20.00 for weekdays and $25.00 for weekends, adult prices are $30.00 for weekdays and $40.00 for weekends, club rentals are $18.00, premium club rentals are $29.00, and replays are $10.00.
For eighteen holes, adult prices are $50.00 for weekdays and $65.00 for weekends, student prices are $40.00 daily, twilight prices (playing after 2:00pm) are $40.00, replays are $15.00, cart rentals are $22.00 per person, club rentals are $32.00, and premium club rentals are $45.00.
Killington Resort’s course operates from 7:00am until 6:00pm daily from late May through mid-October.
