Killington was built for the winter. This place buzzes when the snow comes. You might already know what to do in Killington VT, over the winter months, but there’s so much more than just skiing. Skiing and Snowboarding

Killington’s main feature is its two beautiful ski resorts. Pico Mountain, which has 19 miles of trails over 468 skiable acres, is smaller than Killington, which has 73 miles of trails over 1,509 skiable acres. Together, the resorts, which are managed by the same company, make up nearly 2,000 skiable acres. Whether you’re learning to ski or snowboard for the first time, or you just need to brush up on your skills, group lessons are incredibly affordable. A two-hour group lesson costs just $79.

Mountain Dining

If you’ve never dined 4,000 feet up in the air, it’s time you tried. Killington and Pico Mountain can hook you up. Take the K-1 Express Gondola to the Peak Lodge at Killington and enjoy dinner and drinks by the fireplace. During the day, you can grab quick eats at the food court. In the evening, try the Peak Bar for light fare, fine wine, signature hot cocktails, and local drafts by the fireplace.

For a more upscale group excursion, consider the stunning Motor Room Bar at Killington Ski Resort. The bar is inside the original drive terminal of Killington’s very first four-passenger lift, and you can only access it via snowcat. The excursion is for folks 21 and over and has a maximum of 10 people. A price of $75 per person includes a snowcat ride, selection of light hors d’oeuvres, and up to two cocktails per person.
