VT Music All Week
In addition to live music at the Wobbly Barn, there are weekly shows at the pubs and bars inside the K-1, Snowshed, Bear, Skyeship and Pico Lodges. That means wherever you end your day at Killington, a Vermont music festival will only be a short walk away.
Your Guide to the Bases
If you’ve never been to Killington before, here’s a quick guide to the base lodges that feature live VT music.
K-1: This base lodge is where you’ll access the K-1 Express Gondola to Killington Peak. If you’re an intermediate or advanced skier, this is where you should start your day. It offers the quickest route to Killington’s highest terrain. You’ll find live music and hot toddies at the Mahogany Ridge Bar.
Snowshed: This features a great food court, rental shop, private lesson desk and seasonal pass office. Long Trail Pub is where the music is at. This lodge is the starting point for group lessons for those 15 and older, and it’s the hub for all private lessons.
Bear: If you’re looking for moguls, you’ll find them here. There are steeps, bumps, trees, a halfpipe, three terrain parks await and the longest, steepest mogul trail on the East Coast. By day, you can bask in the sunshine on the deck at Bear Mountain, and by night, you can hear live music at the bar. This is burger-central.
Skyeship: This is where you’ll catch a quick ride on the Skyeship Express Gondola to Skye Peak. Music is played at the Skye Bar, where you’ll find classic bar foods such as wings and nachos.
