Terms and Conditions
Please read carefully:
We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
All Properties require a (2) night minimum stay. A longer minimum stay may be required during holiday periods.
The property will not be guaranteed before 4:00 PM eastern time on arrival date and check out time is 10:00 AM eastern time on day of departure. We are aware there may be times when you may need to arrive a little early or have a later check out, we try our best to accommodate our guests when this occurs. ***Please note this will not happen unless you make prior arrangements with GetAway Vacations, as there may be an extra fee associated with these requests. ***
This is a NON-SMOKING property.
Pets are only permitted in Pet Friendly Properties and guests will be charged a pet fee. Guests that bring a pet to a non-pet friendly property will be charged a $250 fee.
Quite time is 10 PM please be respectful, if noise level is bothering any neighbors you will be given a warning and asked to quiet down. If you do not comply there may be fines or you may be asked to leave.
DAMAGE WAIVER FEE, DAMAGES AND MISSING ITEMS: A nonrefundable Damage Waiver Fee is required for all reservations. Manager requires a valid Visa, MasterCard or American Express number on file in addition to the Damage Waiver Fee. The Damage Waiver Fee is a nonrefundable Fee that relieves Guests of the cost for unintentional and accidental damage to the Rental Property and its contents, not to exceed the amount of coverage (up to $500.00 of unintentional damage). The Damage Waiver Fee does not cover intentional damage, theft, unauthorized entry into the owner's supply closet, unauthorized pets, extensive cleaning required at check-out, smoking, exceeding occupancy limits or parking limits, and any other charges/polices in Manager's Rental Terms and Conditions and Rental Agreement including any fines imposed on Manager by the City, County, State or Home Owner Association as the result of violation of any law, ordinance, rule or regulation or any fines or costs levied against Guest or visitors of Guest (Excess Damage Costs). Guest will be notified of any Excess Damage Costs in writing. Any Excess Damage Costs will also be charged immediately to the Guest's credit card. Guest, by agreeing below, assumes full responsibility for any items found to be missing and any damage due to misuse, negligence or action on Guest's or Guest's visitors part, except in the case of normal wear-and-tear reported to Manager within 48 hours of Check-in.
PAYMENT: Reservations made within 60 days of arrival full payment will be due at time of booking. Reservations made outside 60 days of arrival an advanced payment of 30% of the reservation total will be due at time of booking and the balance will be due 60 days prior to arrival. The advance payment will be applied toward the room rent. The advance payment is not a damage deposit.
CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION: I understand and consent to the use of the credit card provided without original signature on the charge slip, and that this Credit Card Authorization cannot be revoked and will not terminate until 90 days after rented premises are vacated. Charges may include: unauthorized long distance telephone and satellite TV charges; damages beyond normal wear and tear; unreturned keys, & parking infractions.
CANCELATIONS: Cancelation or changes of reservations with advance payments. Cancelations that are made more than (60) days prior to the check in date will be refunded the advanced payment less a $100 cancelation fee. Cancelations that are made within (60) days of the check in date forfeit the full advance payment. Any changes that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the check in date will not be penalized. Any changes made within (60) days of the check in date that result in a shortened stay, change of dates, change of location or unit, may result in loss of entire advance payment. Cancelations and early departures due to inclement weather do not warrant refunds of any kind.
WEATHER POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS: No refunds will be given for Snow/Ice and Heavy Rain Storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. We here at GetAway Vacations highly recommend a vehicle having an all-wheel drive, 4-wheel drive or very good snow tires on your vehicle, even after the driveway has been plowed it can remain slippery. Gravel drives are well maintained; however, we do not refund due to road conditions. Departures due to inclement weather do not warrant refund of any kind.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: Each property has a maximum number of guest that are allowed. This is indicated by the number that the unit sleeps in beds. If you are caught over occupying the property, you will be asked to vacate and there will be no refund given.
INCLUSIVE FEES: Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup and a departure clean. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate.
HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE: While linens and bath towels are included in the property, daily/weekly/monthly housekeeping service is not included in the rental rate, however this is available at an additional cost. For hot tub use we suggest you bring your own beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property.
RATE CHANGES: Rates subject to change without notice.
FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS: Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS: Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
PARKING: Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
FIREPLACES: Please do not clean out the fireplace, the housekeeper will clean it out after you leave.
POOL / HOT TUB / HEALTH CLUB / RESTAURANT & DELI AVAILABILITY: At Mountain Green Resort the pool, hot tubs, health club, restaurant and deli are only open during the winter months and are usually closed for the season by Easter weekend. The indoor pool opens Thanksgiving weekend along with the health club, the restaurant and deli open Christmas week.
At Sunrise Village the indoor pool and health club is open from the beginning of July through the end of March. The restaurant is open weekends Christmas week through the end of March. *** We are not responsible for hours and dates of operation of any of these amenities, dates/Times are subject to change without notice. ***
