With a 12,000 square-foot putting green and practice bunker, Killington Golf Course truly has something for everyone. After your game, head back to the Clubhouse Bar and Grill where you can enjoy delicious food, cool drinks, and indoor and outdoor seating. The course is open to the public May 28 through October 10, 2016, and guests can purchase a season pass or view daily rates online.

Green Mountain National Golf Course: Also located in Killington, Green Mountain features gently sloping fairways and generous landing areas that are ideal for experienced golfers and beginners alike. The course also offers practice facilities, a pro shop, an on-site grill, and breathtaking panoramic views, where century-old rock formations and rolling hills provide the perfect backdrop.

Okemo Golf Course: Situated in Ludlow, VT, Okemo Valley Country Club is an 18-hole championship course that features one-of-a-kind fairways and fresh mountain breezes. Guests can enjoy a variety of amenities including a 9,200-square-foot clubhouse and locker room, a full-service golf pro shop, and a 120-seat lounge and restaurant.

Jay Peak Golf Course: For a more casual atmosphere, head to the Jay Peak Resort Golf Course where you can enjoy an 18-hole round with a cart for just $50. The course also offers golf instruction and private lessons, so those new to the sport can learn to play like a pro.

Stratton Golf Course: Established in 1964, Stratton’s historic golf club has hosted six LPGA tour events and has a challenging course that features a 27-hole layout, comprised of forest, lake, and mountain nines.

Mount Snow Golf Course: With 18 holes and 6,943 yards of scenic mountain golf opens, Mount Snow Golf Club is a great place to tee off. The course was named one of the top 5 in the state by Golf Magazine and provides an expansive front nine and challenging back nine that winds through the wooded terrain.

2. Golfing

The weather in Vermont during the summer is ideal for golfing. Head to the beautiful Killington for some of the best golf in the state! The Killington Resort golf course is open to the public and features a breathtaking 18-hole course. The course, designed by Geoffrey Cornish, is great for any golfer! Take in the unique mountain terrain as you play a couple a rounds with your friends! Adults cost $50 Monday through Friday and $65 Saturday and Sunday for 18-holes. Adults cost $30 Monday through Friday and $40 Saturday and Sunday for 9-holes!

3. Adventure Center

There is truly something for everyone to do in Killington Vermont. The Adventure Center offers several thrilling things to try, from the Skye Rope Course to disc golf. One of the top things to do at the Adventure Center is the Beast Mountain Coaster! This 4,800-foot-long alpine mountain coaster will take you on a whirlwind of a journey. Twist and turn through the woods with the 360-degree corkscrews! Guests can purchase a 1-ride card, 4-ride card, or a 6-ride card! During the summer, guests can stay cool at Snowshed Pond. The Adventure Center offers Stand-Up Paddle Boarding and kayaking rentals during the summer. If being on the water doesn’t float your boat, head to the Skyes Ropes Course and bring out your inner climber! This is a must do when visiting the area!
