Snow Tubing in Killington: A Classic Winter Pastime
As the beating heart of Killington’s wintertime sports scene, it’s no surprise that Killington Ski Resort is home to some of the best snow tubing that the town has to offer at Killington Tubing Park—a lift-serviced, multi-lane snow tubing park. All visitors to the tubing park who wish to go snow tubing must meet the minimum height requirement of 36 inches tall.
Rates for riding in Killington Tubing Park range from $15.00 for Vermont residents with a valid I.D. to $59.00 for a season pass. Single session tubing costs $20.00 for tubers ages eighteen years and under and $25.00 for adults ages nineteen years and older. Tickets cost an additional $5.00 for both youth and adult snow tubers during peak days such as Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day, the weekend of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and the week of President’s Day.
Each tubing session lasts for 90 minutes, commencing from the park’s opening. Tubing rates include the cost of lift service, tube rental, park access, and Vermont tax. If you have a party of 20 or more people, you can save 25% by reserving your tubing session or sessions by email or phone prior to visiting the tubing park.
Those with a tubing season pass can reserve their tubing sessions as many as five days in advance and collect their tickets for their reserved session inside of the clubhouse. Additionally, tubing park visitors that have ridden the Beast Coaster or Skyeride earlier in the day and have the ticket to prove it can save $5.00 on their tubing session.
During the season, Killington Tubing Park is open from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Fridays, from 10:00am until 7:00pm on Saturdays and peak days, and on both Sundays and Martin Luther King Jr. Day from 10:00am until 5:30pm.
