It’s an exciting time to visit Killington. The Vermont Brewers Festival is back again. If you love good beer, good people and good atmosphere, this festival hosted at Killington Ski Resort offers all three in a beautiful setting.
History of The Vermont Brewers Festival
The Vermont Brewers Festival has been hosted in Burlington in western Vermont since 1991. In testament to the beauty and character of our town, Killington will be hosting its own Vermont Brewers Festival for the second year.
The festival prides itself on encouraging collaboration and camaraderie among local Vermont breweries. In 2018, the festival featured 25 collaborative brews that crossed counties and brew styles. In total, the festival offers the chance to taste more than 100 beers, including 30 exclusive brews. Festival access is $44, and a combo lift ticket and festival access is $123.
Tastings & More
There are few brew festivals that offer so many tastings in the price of admission; the Vermont Brewers Festival is one of those wonderful gems. A ticket comes with a souvenir glass and 15 tastings from the very best of Vermont breweries. You’ll find everything here: IPAs, imperial pale ales, pub-style ales, Russian imperial stouts, ales, red ales, Scottish-style ales and more. In addition to tastings, there is locally-made food and live music at the festival. All food and retail must be purchased with cash.
