A warm, cozy atmosphere awaits you at Peppino’s Ristorante Italiano, a family-run Killington restaurant serving up Italian classics in a laid-back, casual setting. Read on below to learn more about this lovely local restaurant you can try during your stay here!

Authentic Italian Cuisine in Killington

Peppino’s Ristorante Italiano is just the place to take your guests for a touch of Old World Italy in the heart of Killington restaurants, with dishes both foreign and familiar to choose from. Appetizers like mussels luigi, carciofi al forno, garlic bread, antipasto, and several different flat breads begin your decadent experience at Peppino’s.

From there, treat yourself to pasta with a house salad, such as tortellacci neapolitana, la primavera, ziti vodka, and ravioli. Red meat dishes, served with a side pasta and house salad, sample from New York sirloin, French cut pork shops, and veal. The osso bucco, when available, is fall-off-the-bone tender, a pork shank baked in a reduction of mushroom, red pepper, and tomato.

Chicken Florentine, piccola Napoli, and vesuvio all indulge the palate with a taste of the Mediterranean, including pairings of extra virgin olive oil, calmata olives, romano cheese, fresh basil, prosciutto di parma and mozzarella, and mushrooms sautéed in brandy.

The seafood options on Peppino’s menu are nothing to scoff at either. Gorge yourself on scrod livornese, shrimp louigi, schrimp scampi, mussles carmine, and shrimp fra diavolo—an extremely spicy linguini dish with hot pepper flakes, butter, garlic, and marinara sauce.

Items can also be prepared “parmigiana,” in which your choice of eggplant, chicken, or veal is breaded and baked in tomato sauce and topped with mozzarella cheese. Or, if you’d rather have a lighter dish, salads such as the garlic spinach, mushroom sauté, and vegetable sauté will leave you feeling full but not over-stuffed.

While the ambiance of Peppino’s may lend itself to a casual night out at Killington restaurants, the quality of its menu—and the expensiveness of its prices, to match—are anything but. Additionally, the restaurant has a limit of three separate checks per table or party, and asks that you inform your server when seated, so think and budget ahead if you want to dine here.
