For more than two decades, Sunup Bakery in Killington has been serving real, whole foods to tourists and locals on Killington Mountain Access Road. Since its opening in 1995, Sunup Bakery has been working to create the most delicious bakery fresh foods using local and organic ingredients.
They offer a healthy and quick breakfast and lunch so that you can stop in on your way to the mountain for a day of skiing, snowboarding, biking, or hiking. Getting their breakfast to-go is the best option, as they don’t have a lot of space for seating. However, if you want to sit and enjoy your breakfast before your day you can sit on one of their few patio chairs while you enjoy a cup of coffee and watch cars drive by.
Fresh Food & Drinks Daily at Sunup
Sunup bakery makes fresh bread daily and uses it to create some of the best sandwiches in Killington. They have vegan and gluten-free options and use organic and local cheeses, meats, and produce whenever possible. They also make fresh pastries, muffins, and croissants and their breakfast menu includes breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, yogurt and granola, and fresh fruit smoothies during the summer. Sunup bakery offers breakfast all day. Make sure to try their famous Espresso Bread Pudding Muffin.
They have a self-service coffee bar for drip coffee. Some of their most popular coffees are an Organic Sumatra from Benbows Coffee Roasters in Bar Harbour, Maine. They also have a variety of Fair Trade coffees available from Mill City Roasting Company in Manchester, New Hampshire. If you want an espresso or specialty coffee drink, they have a full-service espresso bar. During the summer they make iced coffees and teas.
From November – April they are open Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. In May and June, they are only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. and from July – October they are open Wednesday – Monday from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
