Hit the Slopes of the Largest Ski Resort in the Eastern U.S.
Boasting 155 trails throughout over the course of over 1,500 acres of skiing terrain, Killington Ski Resort has a diverse range of terrain and challenges for even the most experienced of skiers. The trails are split nearly equally into easy, intermediate, and difficult trails, with the majority of trails being rated as difficult. There are also twenty-one lifts by which you can reach the trails, ensuring that you’ll never have to wait too long to experience that thrilling rush of skiing down peaks as high as 4,000 feet. In addition to being the biggest ski resort in the eastern United States, Killington Ski Resort also has the longest ski season in the region. The resort is open from 9:00am until 4:00pm during weekdays and from 8:00am to 4:00pm during peak dates and weekends. Peak dates take place during Thanksgiving Day weekend, from Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend, and on President’s Day weekend. Operating hours can change depending on weather conditions and events taking place at the resort.
Prices for everyday lift tickets range from $81.00 for children ages seven to eighteen to $105.00 for adults ages nineteen through sixty-four. Discounts are available for college students with a valid I.D. Season passes are also available, catering to Vermont students, full-time college students, midweek ski resort attendees, and those who want unlimited time on the mountain. Additionally, visitors to Killington Ski Resort can also rent out skiing gear at locations all over the park. Rental equipment prices vary from $5.00 for a performance rental add-on to $55.00 for an adult one-day rental.
