The Bus
Perhaps the easiest way to get around Killington is to ride with the Marble Valley Regional Transit District, also known as The Bus, which transports riders to ski lodges, parking lots and businesses along Killington Road.
The Diamond Express runs along Highway 4 (Killington Road) from the Diamond Run Mall in Rutland to the Killington Ski Resort, passing the Pico Mountain Ski Resort along the way.
A one-way trip from Rutland to Killington is just $2. You also can purchase summer and winter passes for $150, which are great for those frequent trips to the slopes and valley trails.
Service operates seven days a week beginning at 7:15 a.m. and ending at 11:15 p.m.
Killington Express Shuttle
Killington Express Shuttle serves local airports, Amtrak stations, ski resorts and events. The shuttle offers stretch limousines and stretch SUVs to weddings and other events, too. The shuttle connects our vacation rentals to Killington’s adventure hotspots. It’s available 24/7 and can accommodate any size party.
The express shuttle is a great way to explore Killington, too. The shuttle offers winery and beer tours. If you want to try out both Pico Mountain and Killington Ski Resorts, this shuttle can take you to both, even in the same day.
Summer Scenic Gondola
Riding the K-1 Express Gondola is a great way to access the valley’s world-class hiking trails. You’ll get stunning views of the Vermont landscape at the top of 4,241-foot Killington Peak. At the top, enjoy lunch with your view at the Peak Lodge.
Children under six and seniors over 80 ride free. Roundtrip adult tickets cost $30 and seniors and youth cost $25. There are discounts for groups of four or more.
Lodging Near Killington
Gramps is another inexpensive shuttle service serving local airports, Amtrak stations, ski resorts and events. The shuttle can travel within a 200-mile radius. A one-way ticket from Killington to Burlington is only $15.50. On your trip to your rental home, Gramps can stop so you can pick up groceries and other staples.
