In Rockingham, you can make a day trip out of your shopping visit by strolling through the Kissing Bridge with your special someone, or checking out their Grist Mill Museum. In addition, each location has a list of family-fun events that are great for locals and visitors of all ages. On August 24th, the Weston store invites guests to Mildred’s Cruise-In, where they can drive up in their classic car or truck and receive a free maple “creemee” from Mildred’s Dairy Bar. It’s a great way to show off your ride and to meet other drivers, all while enjoying the best soft-serve ice cream around. At the Vermont Country Store in Rockingham, guests are welcome every Sunday in August to an old-fashioned pig roast. Or, if you’re not a ham lover, chicken BBQ is also available. The roast goes from 11 AM to 6 PM, so be sure to check it out when visiting the store!
