Competition Details

Mogul skiing is a freestyle skiing competition consisting of one timed run on a steep, heavily moguled course. On Saturday, April 8, 2017, competitors will head to the Outer Limits Trail at Killington Resort. Each participant will have one run before the top 32 men and 16 women compete in a sudden-death, dual-course challenge. Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place winners, and their names will be engraved on the Bear Mountain Mogul Challenge trophy.

Judging

The purpose of the Mogul Challenge is to recognize technical superiority and athletic ability. Males and females are scored separately in each age group, and each judge can award a maximum of five points for well-executed turns, aerial maneuvers, and speed.
