Note: Due to the Vermont State Covid-19 mandates, Sunrise Association has regretfully made the difficult decision to close all shared amenities, including the indoor pool, outdoor pool, whirlpool/hot tubs, sauna, steam room, weight room, and exercise room. This decision will last for the duration of the 2020/2021 winter ski season.
A Hunter’s Paradise
When you enter Sunrise – Northstar B-1 rental, you’ll be amazed at the abundance of trophy animals on display (even if you have seen them here first in our lovely photos!). The sheer size of the moose antlers alone will overwhelm you; then you’ll sit back on the comfortable sofas and loungers to admire the numerous trophies everywhere – deer, turkey, pheasant, and fish adorn the walls, along with several beautiful pelts.
The open plan of the main living area in this lodge showcases the centerpiece of the room, the large stone-faced wood-burning fireplace. You’ll enjoy cozy evenings around the fire, while perhaps imagining the adventures that were had by those who hunted those glorious trophies. Large, overstuffed seating makes the living room the place where everyone will want to gather, and they’ll surely also want to gather around the large flat-screen TV that sits nearby. Sloping skylights bring the sky and mountain views right into the room. A window seat tucked under one set of skylights is a great place to curl up with a good book or sit at night and watch the stars.
In this gorgeous open-plan living area, the dining table sits under a beautiful antler chandelier and the large sliding glass doors provide access to the deck and generous views of the mountains beyond. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops, rustic-look cabinets, and a full-size dishwasher and stove, while sharing the same incredible views with the rest of the room. The result is, those who prepare and clean up from meals don’t have to miss out on socializing with the rest of the group! Everyone can visit together and enjoy the same scenery, while making a great meal together. Now that’s quality time!
Traditional Styling

To access the Sunrise Village Triple Chair lift using the Sundog trail, you will need to walk out of the Northstar parking area, turn right, walk up the road about 50 to 75 yards, and the trail is on the left side of the road. You will be able to ski back to the Northstar building.
