You will notice how the home sits beautifully on the hill just outside of a forested area. The slope is perfect for winter activities for the kids such as snow tubing or sledding. The spacious yard is perfect for playing games and enjoying the beautiful Vermont weather.
Main Level
Guests will enter Mountain Time through the main level found at the bottom of the home. The extended staircase outside the front door offers a rustic sensibility and style. Right as you enter the home you will notice the fully equipped country kitchen. Guests can comfortably prepare a meal together and dine at the breakfast bar (with seating for three). The dining room table is big enough for the whole family, letting you enjoy your meal together. The wooden cabinetry adds to the rustic appeal of this mountain home. Full-size appliances let you feel right at home and offers everything you need to prepare a meal.
Upper Level
You will find all of the bedrooms located on the upper level of Mountain Time. The master bedroom features a king bed that is extremely spacious and comfortable. A queen-sized bed can be found in the second bedroom, while a queen-sized bed and single bed can also be found in the third bedroom. Mountain Time can comfortably sleep nine individuals all under a single roof when you use each bedroom and the futon found in the den on the lower level of the home. Each room comes with plenty of space in the closets so you can unpack your clothing. The upper level is complete with a full-size bathroom as well. The spacious shower/tub combo lets you get ready peacefully in the morning for another exciting day around Vermont.
Lower Level
As mentioned, Mountain Time comes complete with a lower level where you can find the den/living area of the home. You will want to spend the majority of your time in the home in this spacious area. A huge corner sofa lets you kick back and watch your favorite programming on the big flat screen TV. An additional queen futon can also be found down here that can also be used to comfortably sleep guests of Mountain Time. A mini bar area lets guests hang out together and enjoy their stay. A half-sized bathroom can be found on the lower level and features a full-sized washing and drying machines. With Mountain Time being located on the hill you can access the lower level from the outside. The patio deck is right outside the door where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee.
Getting to Mountain Time
Mountain Time is located just outside of Killington in the mountains surrounding Pittsfield. The property is open year-round so you can enjoy your stay whenever you would like to visit. Since Mountain Time is located in the mountains it can be a little tricky to get to. A dirt road will lead you to the property and features some steep inclines. We highly suggest a vehicle with four-wheel drive when you drive up to Mountain Time. The mountain towns also have spotty cell service, so make sure you are ready for the trek before taking off!
