Vermont River Tubing Company

Also in Stockbridge, Vermont River Tubing offers inner tube rentals and self-guided trips for just for $10. You’ll take a scenic shuttle ride up to the river, and then you’re on your own! Guests can enjoy a lazy 3-hour float trip surrounded by lush foliage, rock formations, and wildlife, and will even encounter exciting patches of rapids. Great River Outfitters offers a number of options for self-guided day float trips on the Connecticut River in Windsor, VT. This area is known for its natural beauty and undisturbed wildlife, where nearly-extinct bald eagles nest along the river banks. Their most popular tubing trip is 3 hours long and begins five miles upstream at Sumner Falls – or you can do a full 8 hour day trip and be picked up by the shuttle. Although this campground is located in New York, Battenkill Riversports is just a 30-minute drive from Manchester, VT, and offers fun and exciting tube trips down the picturesque Battenkill River. You’ll pass under famous covered bridges, take on thrilling twists and turns, and enjoy spectacular views of the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks. 1.5-hour tube trips are just $25 and 2.5-hour trips are $35.
